Boys don't cry and other lies

This panel discussion, moderated by moderator Artan Islamaj (student at UZH and Vice-President of Die Feministen), focuses on gender differences in relation to mental health. Why are suicide rates higher in men and what explains the paradox that women are more likely to be diagnosed with depression? What are 'typically male' coping strategies? How do genders differ in help-seeking behavior? To what extent does this have to do with gender-specific socialization? What preventive measures are there? Afterwards you have the opportunity to exchange ideas on the topic with others from the audience and one of the experts in breakout rooms.
